Why Rome
Rome is a city of vivid and unforgettable images: the view of the city’s silhouette from “Janiculum Hill” at dawn; the array of broken marble columns and ruins of temple of the Roman forum; St. Peter’s dome emerging from a pink-and-red sunset, capping a gloriously decorated basilica.
After visiting the Coliseum, the Pantheon, St. Peter’s Basilica, the “Trevi Fountain”, the tourist can experience the Roman night life.
That is when another Rome comes alive, cafes and restaurants grow more animated, especially if you are in “Trastevere”, and after dinner it is possible to stroll by the fountains or through “Piazza Navona”, having a wonderful gelato or an espresso.
Rome does provide the visitor with unlimited cultural offerings including concert halls – catering for all musical tastes (classical and modern) – movies, theatres, opera houses, and museums of all kinds.
During the summer months the whole city turns into one big open theatre with shows, live concerts, open-air cinemas, etc., the thrilling ESTATE ROMANA (Roman Summer).
Roma knows how to live the “Dolce Vita” to the fullest!
